Enthusiastic & energetic, I’m an original visionary & curiously passionate maven with unconventional experience across diverse industries. I’ve evolved into a unique and colorful hybrid of a one-woman production crew including on camera talent, marketing consultant, journalist & wellness teacher. From creating, owning & managing editorial multimedia content to broadcast engineer to being chosen as the voice and face of Avaya as “Ava,” I’m use to wearing many hats and switching gears quickly when needed. Before coming to Avaya, I worked at NBC Bay Area as a content producer. Shortly after graduating from San Jose State University, I was picked nationwide as one of 12 news apprentices for CBS where I worked at the San Francisco station, KPIX 5.
My other passion in life is giving back through volunteer/non-profit work. Having grown up in San Jose’s Japantown I’ve constantly stayed involved whether it’s reporting for community newspapers, serving on nonprofit boards or pro bono marketing consulting. I am also a certified Yoga Teacher RYT-200 and absolutely enjoy sharing this gift of health, love, mindfulness & wellness. Besides giving those in need a voice & platform through storytelling, Yoga gives me another sense of fulfillment in helping people that I never imagined possible. I look forward to the opportunity of sharing, learning & connecting with you! I wish you & all beings everywhere love, peace & good health! Namaste for your time & interest!
